Geometry Club

Geometry Club is an Instagram based project by Dave Mullen that collects architectural photographs taken using two specific guidelines:

– Your apex needs to be aligned centrally on both the X and Y axis.
– Edges should fall off the image at the same point, symmetrically.

Just follow these two rules, and tag your image with #geometryclub to be featured. The results are beautiful.

World Cup Stamps

I freakin’ love these World Cup Stamps designed by Portuguese studio, Maan. Unfortunately, it’s just a self-project. I’d buy the entire set if they were for sale. They also design some packaging around it, and they put together a Tumblr to showcase all the stamps.

Rosmarie Tissi

Last night, while looking through my copy of Neue Grafik/New Graphic Design/Graphisme actual, I discovered the wonderful work of Rosmarie Tissi. She was born in Switzerland, then studied design in Z├╝rich, and has been a member of AGI since 1974. In 1968, she formed O&T studio with Siegfried Odermatt.

I really love how she blends the swiss style, with a more abstract style using a lot of geometric shapes. You can see more of her work here, here, here, here and here.
