Ryan wrote in to let me know that he’s updated his site Neuarmy with a bunch of new work. I’ve been a fan of Ryan’s work ever since seeing his work in The Royal Magazine and I’ve been waiting for an update like this for some time.

    Vintage Citroen Brochures

I found this amazing archive of old Citroen brochures from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s with beautiful cover designs. The 70’s are definitely the best with the 50’s and 60’s containing some gems as well but the 80’s are mostly terrible. I love how these designs are timeless and look as if they were created today.

    Experimenta

    February 27th, 2008

Experimenta is a design studio based in Wellington, New Zealand with an exceptional portfolio. They are inspired by minimalism and modernism, and have a great Critique section on their site where they analyze typefaces and design theories. Any site with a diagram of a golden section page gets my respect.

For all those that missed out on the Grids Are Good For The Soul posters, here are some wallpapers to satisfy your needs. Using the same Brockmann quote, I created two wallpapers, one set in Helvetica and the other set in Lubalin Graph. The grid is also visible which you can’t see in the thumbnails.

Head over to the Wallpapers page to download them.

I’ve been meaning to post about this for some time now but it got lost in all my emails. Dan from the talented studio Family has notified me about a poster they’ve designed for the Salford University students so that they can raise money for their final degree show.

The work by Netherlands based Almost Modern simply blows me away. I love how simple and minimal the work is but at the same time it’s just beautiful.

An excellent collection of print work by UK based A-Side Studio.

One of the reasons why I love doing print more than interactive work is because when it’s all done, you have something to actually hold in your hands. Ultimate satisfaction.
