DesignUnit
I’ve been a fan of Designunit’s work for a while now. This Denmark based agency was founded by Majbritt and Jesper Johansen and focuses on fashion brands. I love their typography drive aesthetic.
Hello Couture
A lovely series of posters by Ryan Atkinson that brilliantly mixes fashion, typography and design.
Lacoste: The Element Of Style
There’s something about the Lacoste brand and products that I love: they’re well-designed, detailed and minimal. So I’m excited to see that these concepts were extended to their new book, Lacoste: The Element Of Style? by Olivier Margot?. The book presents the visual history of this classic brand in a well-designed package. I personally love the simple design of the cover — which comes in 5 different color-ways — and the canvas texture.
I did some quick searching and couldn’t find any info on the designer of the book. I wonder if Lacoste did it themselves.
You can grab a copy of the book from Amazon or Assouline?.

Someone in London should scoop up this talent.
AisleOne has been Twitterfied
So I’ve finally jumped on the bandwagon and created an AisleOne Twitter page. Think of it as an extension of AisleOne. The main focus will still be design but it will extend to other areas, for instance fashion, industrial design, painting, anything that really doesn’t fit what I have going here. The AisleOne Twitter will also include some random posts on life and things of that nature. So far it’s pretty addictive. Check it out and follow me on Twitter!
