Thinking Form has posted a short piece on legendary designer, Bob Noorda. He first worked as an Art Director for Pirelli and later on he co-founder Unimark International with Massimo Vignelli. A lot of great work came from him.

New Rail Alphabet is a revival of the typeface used for the British Rail that was designed by Margaret Calvert in the late 60’s. The original consisted of two versions but this new version is available in 6 weights: Off White, Light, Medium, Bold and Black.
I love it. A nice alternative to Helvetica.

The talented chaps at Bunch have just completed an this elegant identity for Institut Parfumeur Flores. The elements included signage, bags, stickers, pencils, ribbons and labels. Simple. Clean. Beautiful. Just how design should be.

I snapped a pic today with my iPhone of this beautifully designed sign for an public park. Definitely has a modernistic look to it which I love and I wish I knew who did it. I’m going to look around to see if I find more. Can you name that typeface?
