Tomasz Berezowski
I’m really enjoying the work of Polish architect and graphic designer Tomasz Berezowski. His design work is looks like it come right out of the 60s. Simple, typographic design.
Carl Brett
Carl Brett was an Irish graphic designer and teacher who worked in Canada since 1954 and helped pioneer modernism in Canada. He was a founding member of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada and served as president on two occasions.
Couldn’t find much info on him, and only found this gallery of his work at a small resolution, and some sort video interviews with him.
5BORO VHS Series
NYC based skateboard company 5BORO has released a series of decks that pay homage to VHS tapes from the 80s and 90s. I’m a sucker for this kind of stuff.
Eichler Homes
Eichler Homes was a company, by visionary Joseph Eichler, that built over 11,000 Mid-Century modern homes in California between 1950 and 1974. Eichler was responsible for bringing modern architecture to middle-class Americans. Eichler Homes commissioned some of the most prominent modern architects of the time including Anshen & Allen, Claude Oakland & Associates, Jones & Emmons, A. Quincy Jones, and Raphael Soriano.
The photos above were taken by Darren Bradley and are part of a collection of Eichler Homes that he’s photographed. Also, be sure to check out his other Flickr collections.
