I’ve been a fan of Network Osaka’s work for a while now, and this A1 silk screen poster for Stanford University floored me when I saw it. I love the choice of colors and the overprint look, as well as the use of photography to really bring the entire piece together. This design feels fresh but also seems like it could be a poster right out of the 60s. It must be a beauty in person.

To celebrate this holiday season, I’m offering the Enotmike typeface for only $15 until December 31. Enotmik is a monocase display typeface available in two weights, Light and Bold, and designed on a grid, creating a unique typeface made up of only 90º and 45º angles.
I found this inspiring set of vintage calendars over at Grain Edit. For an aesthetic standpoint, my personal favorite is this 1970 Boffi Arredamento Calendar designed by A. Nava & G. Confalonieri. I love the visible grid and the geometric graphic. It’s hard to tell how functional it was.
Here’s a lovely new sans-serif typeface from ps.type.lab called Runda. It’s available in five weights with matching italics with the full set only costing $199. Not so sure about the lower case “e” but the rest is very elegant.
SEA‘s latest publication ’22 Posters’ has been produced in conjunction with an exhibition of work in Belfast. The book features, as A6 postcards, 22 highlights from their poster archive, including designs for K2 Screen, Rankin, GF Smith and Wim Crouwel.
The book is printed in 5 colors on GF Smith Ebony Colorplan/Naturalis paper and quarter bound in dark grey cloth.
