I’ve been a fan of Network Osaka’s work for a while now, and this A1 silk screen poster for Stanford University floored me when I saw it. I love the choice of colors and the overprint look, as well as the use of photography to really bring the entire piece together. This design feels fresh but also seems like it could be a poster right out of the 60s. It must be a beauty in person.

Book publisher Unit Editions has released this wonderful poster to celebrate the success of their first book, Studio Culture. Designed by Spin, the silkscreened poster is limited to 100 editions — 50 printed on GF Smith Colorplan Natural White and the other 50 on GF Smith Colorplan Smoke Grey. The print is sized at 800 x 600mm (31.5 x 23.5 inches).
One of my favorite design studios, BVD, just finished up some stunning new work for the German company LemonAid Beverages. They created a simple and eye catching design for the new drinks ChariTea and Lemonaid. BVD also selected a classic bottle design on which the graphics are silkscreened instead of using labels. I’d drink this stuff even if it tasted bad just because the design is gorgeous. Also, definitely check out the LemonAid site by demodern. The typography and videos are awesome.
