The previously unavailable typeface Pistilli Roman, designed by Herb Lubalin and John Pistilli, is now available as a font called Eloquent. As of now the only weight available is Regular but better than nothing. I’m looking for to using this gorgeous typeface in a future design.

Looks like the font Chris Marker used in Sans Soleil

Eloquent Complete also includes the Swash face, which has the alternative ampersand that all of us designers lust for. It\’s a little more expensive but definitely worth it by getting all of those swash characters.

thats just beautiful. I want this.
on and unrelated note, I’ve been meaning to ask if you know Josh Tavlin. He’s my senior project instructor at Pratt and works at Ogilvy.
Yup, I know Josh Tavlin. I’ve worked with him on a few projects. Great guy.
Sorry, it seems as though that link was broken, here is the proper link:

The font looks lovely. Graphic designers should better add this font to their collection, so they can offer more options.
Great font, I like the contrast between the thick and thins.
Beautiful! Love those ball terminals, sooo nice. Reminds me very much of Cabernet – http://www.identifont.com/show?9Y1 – which I’ve used for all my wedding design/stationery – http://www.flickr.com/photos/48412247@N00/sets/72157617751066858/ & http://s3.amazonaws.com/data.tumblr.com/tumblr_krh337nNfS1qzs2oxo1_1280.jpg?AWSAccessKeyId=0RYTHV9YYQ4W5Q3HQMG2&Expires=1255767000&Signature=3wBZY9j7WvCWwWOLZrH06TNC%2BCg%3D, these look real nice if set individually. Herb is my design hero!
’bout time too!
