Arnaud Mercier

Arnaud Mercier, co-founder of Area 17, passed away last year and a great site was put together in his honor. I didn’t personally know Arnaud, but his work was a big influence on me. I’d always head over to Elixirstudio to get inspired. The work he did for Elan was my favorite.

Pollen

Pollen is a creative agency founded in 2001 and consists of Barny Collis, Rosa van Wyk and Anton Agejkin. The work is stellar, and the site is impressive as well. It amazes me how many agencies don’t have great sites to present their work. It makes a huge difference.

Studio Whitehorn

I’m loving the work that Dowling Duncan did for Studio Whitehorn. Clean, beautiful, no BS.

Html css book

Most books on code are visually boring, but HTML & CSS designed by Jon Duckett makes the reading experience much more interesting and fun. I haven’t read the book, but I’d guess that the good design will help with the learning experience.

Kurppa Hosk

I’m really impressed with the work of Swedish agency, Kurppa Hosk. The team is lead by Thomas Kurppa, Måns Jacobsson Hosk, and Andreas Pihlström (AKA Suprb). Spiffy little site too. I’m looking forward to the new work that’s going to come out of this place.
