A simple site that takes you through a brief history of the world’s largest design firm, Unimark International. Founded by Ralph Eckerstrom and Massimo Vignelli, Unimark only lasted 13 years but some of the most famous corporate identities were born behind its doors. My favorite is the work done for Memorex.
A nice collection of gig posters that were recently added to my International Typographic Style flickr group. Design by Pinch, the layout system allows a poster to be created in less than 30 minutes. I wonder if a grid system was used to create the layout.

I absolutely love this booklet/stationary by German studio Markwald & Neusitzer. Gorgeous and inspiring. Makes me want to fire up Illustrator.
Along with Brockmann, Crouwel and Aicher, Seitz is one of my biggest influences. His work has influenced many and is considered to be some of the best of our time. Design Observer has a great article on Seitz by Andrew Blauvelt, who also designed a book with Ryan Nelson called Peter Seitz: Designing a Life, a book featuring his work for the Walker Art Center.
