Daily Book Graphics

daily_book_graphics

Daily Book Graphics is a year-long project by Julian Montague where each day he posts, on his blog and his Flickr page, a graphic element from a book that he’s purchased. He started on February 21, 2009 and plans to post something new each day until February 21, 2010. The collection is incredible and it includes a ton of classic book graphics that are designed in the International Typographic Style. An excellent resource for any designer.

Hunt

I love this identity and branding for Cross Section Studio by Melbourne based multi-disciplinary studio Hunt. The identity system is inspired by Swiss design and includes a letterhead, notepad, business cards and DVD. There’s something about simple black & white designs that I love.

Michael Kosmicki

michael_kosmicki

Michael Kosmicki is a graphic design student at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, and his work simply blows me away. I’m amazed at how refined it is, but what I love the most is Michael’s classic sense of style. A lot of his pieces feel like they’re right out of the golden age of Swiss design. Perfect in every way. If we did any print work here, I’d hire this kid in a second.
