LEGO Imagine

Here’s a brilliant ad campaign for LEGO by German agency Jung Von Matt that visualizes famous cartoon characters using the basic square LEGO block. Color is used to create characters from The Simpsons, South Park, The Smurfs, The Ninja Turtles, Donald Duck, Bert and Ernie, Asterix and Obelix and Lucky Luke and the Daltons.

Swissair Flyer

Keeping with the Swissair theme, this fansite of the airline contains a ton of marketing collateral including posters, flyers and advertising. A lot of great stuff here, especially from the 60-80s.

A great set of vintage print ads for the defunct computer manufacture Burroughs Corporation. Most of the ads were designed by Campbell-Ewald. I also love this Burroughs ad that has that great vintage computing look to it. There’s a lot to be said about the simplicity of these designs.

Awesome print ad for Helvetica that was published in a 1966 issue of Print Design and Production. Here’s another one.
