Bastardised celebrates the global identity project born in 2007 out of Bunch’s need to re-brand. They approached designers and image-makers they admired and asked them to produce a “visual reaction” to their logo, sign it and return it. The resulting ‘Bunchisms’ were incorporated into their stationery with care taken to choose relevant themes for the applications.
This initiative attracted international artists, designers and illustrators which included Malcolm Garrett, Jonathan Ellery, Paul Davis, Marian Bantjes, Stefan Sagmeister, James Goggin, Carlos Segura, Build, Paul Insect, David Quay, Vince Frost, Si Scott and Julian Morey.
289 ‘Bunchisms’ were specially selected from 750 contributions and my submission was one of the designs selected for the book.
The limited edition 208 page hardback includes a foreword by cultural writer and author Liz Farrelly.
You can purchase a copy on November 1st from the Bunch store or Magma Books.

I got my invitation for the UK launch, sadly I’m not going to Europe again until next year. I wonder how we can found out what “Bunchisms” were used?
MP, I don’t think they have a list. Maybe if you contact them they can tell you. I know of at least one that made it into the book. Mine!
Hey guys! I traveled all the way from the states for the launch party! It was amazing and a lot of free drink was to be had. Mine was also selected and I saw yours Anthony. I have a copy of the book sitting next to me right now and it looks great!
Nicholas, that’s great! Congrats. I can’t wait to see the book.
Thanx so much for coming down Nicholas.
Hope you enjoyed yourself.
If you are still around you can pick up some copies from the studio
