Evolution of a logo
March 27th, 2006Ever see Apple’s original logo? They have come a long way!
This was Apple’s first logo, designed by Steve Jobs and Ron Wayne, which shows Newton under an apple tree. Pretty clever!
They soon switched to the famous rainbow apple logo designed by Rob Janoff in 1976. Apple continued to use this logo until 1998.
Now they still use the same design but there is no specific color treatment. Some times is solid black or grey or white and sometimes it’s aquified.

Windows Vista
March 26th, 2006Windows is starting to look more and more like OSX but in a crappy Microsoft kind of way. Rounded corners, metallic look, floating clock widgets… Can’t this company think of anything original?

Nike Soccer
March 24th, 2006
This is an outdoor guerilla AD for Nike. Two huge soccer shoes are chasing a soccer ball down the street. I love over the top advertising like this.

Outdoor Advertising
March 22nd, 2006
Here are some really great pieces.
Today is Water World Day and Intermon Oxfam put giant straws on top of manholes with the message, ““Would you drink from this water? Thousand of people don’t have any other choice.”
McCann Ericsson created this billboard for Oliveira DA Serra olive oil promoting their new metal packaging. The copy read “Oil has never been protected so well” and the billboard has real laser beams. Pretty sweet.
Billboard for McDonald’s Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Probably the most interesting Mickey D’s ad I’ve seen.
Outdoor AD for the Australia Post that communicates fast delivery.
Outdoor for Bic razors. I love this one. AD’s like this take it to a whole other level.

Saft
March 21st, 2006Probably THE best plugin for Safari. I can’t live without it.
Saft is a Safari plugin to add features like draggable tabs, full-screen browsing, searchable bookmarks and history, URL shortcuts, kiosk mode and more.
