Khoi Vinh and Allan Cole have created Basic Maths, an excellent grid-based theme for WordPress that includes features like microformats, color-scheme control, full widget support and a key shortcut to display the grid. Not to mention it’s beautifully designed.
You can purchase it for $45. Well worth the price.
It’s very nice alright, any idea how much this is going to cost after the special offer runs out?
It looks nice at first glance, but it really doesn’t work in my opinion. Sure, it adheres to a rigid grid layout, but I feel there’s no clear visual hierarchy to content.
Tom, I agree with you, there are far too many 1px horizontal rules, there needs to be a stronger hierarchy which would create a much easier vertical rhythm.
I can clearly see a division of content left to right, but when scrolling top to bottom my eyes get a little lost.
Do you sell it yet?
