Interesting series of typographic posters by Georg Staehelin for the Museum of Design in Basel. I did a little searching and couldn’t find any info on Mr. Staehelin. If anyone has any info, I’d love to learn more about him.

Every now and again a condensed typeface comes around that simply knocks my socks off. T-Star by designer Michael Mischler is one of them. Originally designed for the book Los Logos, T-Star is a condensed sans-serif that features 9 weights and some interesting details like the Q. I love how simple and light the face feels overall.
You can check out the specimen here.

Raleway is a lovely sans-serif display typefaceby Matt McInerney that’s available for free in a single thing weight. The typeface features an alternate, old style and lining numerals, standard and discretionary ligatures and a complete set of diacritics. It’s also available on TypeKit.
Definitely has an elegant feel to it.

An extraordinary poster by the ridiculously talented Cameron Moll, that took a year to make. An image of the Coliseum in Rome, Italy is formed using handcrafted characters from the Goudy Trajan and Bembo Pro typefaces.
Each poster is printed on Somerset Velvet Black or Crane Lettra Pearl and letterpressed by Bjørn Press of Provo, Utah.
I’m simply amazed but the level of detail and the quality of the piece, but what I’m truly impressed by is the dedication and commitment by Cameron to stick with it for an entire year. It was totally worth it.

The Warfare of Deception is the work of Ryan Katrina and consists of 7 posters, which form a Basic Field Guide made up of 6 sections: Survival, Objective, Protocol, Safety, First Aid, and Communication. Each poster is 12?x18? and printed on generic brown school paper using archival inks.
Lovely typographic work.

League is a Geneva-based design studio with an exceptional portfolio. Each piece is an exercise in simplicity. The poster shown here reminds me of this excellent poster by Robert Büchler.
