Rudolph de Harak (1924-2002) was a legendary American graphic designer who is well-known for his book cover designs for McGraw-Hill during the 50s and 60s. A modernist at heart, de Harak also designed record covers for Columbia and Westminster, as well as these lovely clocks.
After some quick searching, I found this Flickr group dedicated to him.

Book publisher Unit Editions has released this wonderful poster to celebrate the success of their first book, Studio Culture. The super talented Darren Firth of Six has updated his site with some new work, which includes this gorgeous promotional poster for creative network, Dropyx.

Here’s another great set of vintage book cover concepts by Norwegian designer, Morten Iveland. I love the attention to the detail of the paper textures. It really helps make the pieces feel authentic.

Lovely set of faux book covers created by Julian Montague as a tribute to vintage McGraw Hill books.
