This is an interesting study by Christian Annyas of the design of speedometers in Chevrolet cars over the last 70 years. My favorites are during the 50s and 60s.

A lot of the designs showcased are really solid but I’ve gotta say, I really like the CHEVROLET truck (1947) and the CHEVROLET Sonic (2011).
The 2011 one (right above the digital) is shockingly beautiful
