Typographic Posters is an excellent site by Andre Felipe that catalogs only graphical or typographical quality poster designs. Any design can apply and then be given access to the site where they can upload their own work.
It’s already shaping up to be an excellent collection with amazing work. Some notable additions include This Studio, David Barath, Michele Genghi, Toko and yours truly.
The poster pictured above is one I’ve been working on but still need to finish.
god i hate dust jackets…
the only exception is the thick plastic kind that are on “nice to meet you” and “soak wash rinse spin”. Those are nice protection, but they also are basically stuck to the book.
Finally, someone that shares my passionate hate for jackets.
I hope Chip Kidd doesn’t see your poster. 😉
is that site built by suprb or is it another one of their satellites? Great resource
Michael, it’s built using indxr which was developed by Suprb.
I’m not a big fan of the dust cover myself but I do love your play with typography here. Simple yet modern play of words and colors. I’ve seen a few of our clients use this technique for several posters as well. Sometimes less is more indeed.
