Spell It Out viaLetter

Spell It Out viaLetter

I’m in the process of decorating the nursey for my son, who will be here next month, and I picked up some letters from viaLetter to spell out his name on the wall. The letters are made out of synthetic hardcore foamboar and you can get the letters in Bauer Bodoni, Rockwell Condensed, Helvetica Neue 75 and Frankfurter. I of course picked Helvetica and I’m pretty happy with the quality of the letters but the cut can be a little better. The “I” came out a little funky. I now have to figure out the best way to stick these onto the wall. Removable double-sided tape might work just fine.

  1. Congratulations. He’s going to grow up with an appreciation for fine typography, I’m sure.

I’ve never heard of viaLetter before; it definitely looks like something to check out.

  2. These look great. I’ve tried cutting my own letters from a similar foam and it’s incredibly difficult. It’s great that they model them of real types too. And good photo, BTW.
