The Time Has Finally Come

I’m upgraded to this bad boy today. Last night I installed an unofficially version of the 2.0 software so I can play around with all the new apps and I must say this new phase of the iPhone is going to be revolutionary, not that the first phase wasn’t. The third party applications and games are mind blowing. Nothing you’ve ever seen on a mobile device.

  1. let’s talk the down side of al the love:
-I’ve heard it will cost 400 IF you have already one Iphone activated. It will be only half price IF you will become new costumer for ATT-
    Trying to verify this…

  2. Maria that is not true at all. If you are an original iPhone customer, you will get the iPhone at the discounted rate, $199 for the 8GB, $299 for the 16GB. At least that’s how it is in the US.

  3. Thanks Antonio. I hope that’s the case (somebody at work told me that other version). Once I’ll get I’ll report back on this one.

  4. Well the phone is really not that expensive, especially when you compare it to other phones. You can get it for $199.

They were having server issues, which happens, but they resolved it yesterday. All phones are activating now.

  5. I bought mine saturday, but as i live in belgium i had to pay 525 euro for it.
Pretty pricy, but worth every damn cent if you ask me!

  6. I got lucky , must have got the last one in London on Saturday, still getting to grips with it, I found some odd things about the phone – like no bluetooth transfer etc, but mostly – wow!

  7. OK: finally got my second Iphone yestarday, after 4 hours in line at the SoHo store in NYC, for $215. I was afraid that getting a second Iphone will actually make me pay full price.
    Not that bad, fair…
